The Memphis Grizzlies will sign point guard Kobe Bufkin to a hardship 10 Day contract. Memphis continues to have several players out with long-term injuries. This includes guards Ja Morant, Ty Jerome, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Javon Small.
Bufkin was the 15th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks traded Bufkin to the Brooklyn Nets this past offseason in a salary-clearing move. The Nets waived the point guard ahead of the regular season.
This season, Bufkin has appeared in two G League games with the South Bay Lakers. The 6-foot-4 guard has averaged 22 points, 6.5 rebounds and four assists per game.
