The Phoenix Suns have signed Damion Baugh and David Duke Jr to a pair of Exhibit 10 contracts. Baugh and Duke will go to camp with Phoenix on non-guaranteed contracts. Both guards will likely land with the Valley Suns of the G League following the preseason.
Baugh played most of last season for the Charlotte Hornets on a two-way contract last season. In 39 combined G League games with the Westchester Knicks and Greensboro Swarm, the 6-foot-4 guard averaged 12.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
Duke spent the last two years on two-way contracts with the San Antonio Spurs. In 42 games with the Austin Spurs of the G League, the 6-foot-4 guard averaged 17.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
The Suns preseason roster now stands at 20 players. That’s one shy if of the 21-player maximum teams are allowed to carry in the offseason.
